Wood Products - Windows      

At Ballykelly we place great emphasis on quality and so all windows are supplied fully weatherstripped, pre-treated using PROTIM PREVAC double preservative treatment and are pre-stained for easy site finishing. Lockable handles in various finishes are available on all windows. Installation throughout Northern Ireland can be arranged.

FULLY REVERSIBLE WINDOWS

Fitted with a geometric hinge.

Sash can be rotated through 180 degrees Suitable for domestic use plus high rise Buildings as sash can be locked in position for exterior cleaning purposes.

Factory Glazed with a drained and ventilated Dry glazing system.


           

TILT & TURN WINDOWS

Hinged at base and side.

Window which can either tilt inwards along the horizontal axis or turn inwards along the vertical axis.

Factory glazed with a drained and ventilated dry glazing system.

Ideal for fire escapes.

Easier cleaning of glass therefore suitable for high rise buildings.

 

VICTORIAN MOCK SASH

Fitted with a top hung friction reflex hinge as standard.

Factory glazed with a drained and ventilated Dry glazing system.

Selection of vent solutions e.g. Trickle,

Over-glass vent etc.
Stained finish as an extra.

 

 

TRADITIONAL SLIDING SASH WINDOW

 
For many years Ballykelly has used the traditional skills and expertise of its craftsmen to design and manufacture joinery products for use in refurbishment of older buildings and period designed new-build products.
Ballykelly Wood Products' manufacture all the required period details in-house and usetheir own craftsmen to recreate authentic period joinery

Operated by either Sash Weights & Ropes or by Spiral Balances. (both systems ensure ease of operation).

Factory glazed with a drained and ventilated dry glazing system.

Option of Timber Bars in sash to recreate an authentic appearance, or Georgian Bars in Glass

 

TOP HUNG & STANDARD HUNG CASEMENTS

Reflex Friction Hinges fitted as standard, with the Egress hinge to comply with 1991 Building Regulation, revised 1992 (fire escape) as an option among various hinge types.

Factory Glazed as standard with a drained and Ventilated dry glazing system.

Stained finish as an extra. Selection of vent solutions e.g. Trickle, Over-Glass Vent etc.

 

Every glazed window supplied by Ballykelly Wood Products is in accordance with the Glass and Glazing Federations Guidelines as illustrated in the Technical Glazing Manual: Part 1-7.
